Conference Registration feeThe registration fee for the conference is $299 when received by November 4, 2008 ($350 after November 4, 2008). This fee includes all materials refreshment breaks and meals beginning with breakfast on Tuesday, November 18, and ending with lunch on Wednesday, November 19. It does not include lodging. Exhibit feeTable-top exhibit spaces are available for purchase by conference registrants. The cost for a 6-foot table-top space is $300, $250 for nonprofi t organizations. Exhibits will be located in the pre-function space outside our meeting rooms. Exhibits will be displayed November 18 and 19. Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel located at 165 Courtland St., Atlanta, Georgia, 30303. This block will be held until October 28, 2008. Reservations received after that date are subject to prevailing room rates, subject to availability. You are encouraged to make your reservations early since space is limited. Note: The Sheraton Atlanta has graciously agreed to extend our group rates beyond October 28, until our room block is full. Make reservations now to get the last few rooms at the discounted rate.
If making reservations by phone, be sure to mention the Partners in Community Forestry National Conference in order to receive the special conference rate ($155 per night plus tax, $185 club level). Lodging reservations are not included in the conference fee. Student RatesA limited number of student rate registrations are available for full-time undergraduate and graduate students. A valid student I.D. is required. Call 888-448-7337 to inquire. TransportationAtlanta Link Airport Shuttle: The Atlanta Link Airport Shuttle operates daily from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. Shuttles run every 15 minutes. At the time of brochure printing, the Atlanta Link Airport Shuttle fair to Sheraton Atlanta was $16.50 for one-way transportation and $29.00 roundtrip. Should you have any diffi culties in locating the booth at the airport, or if you would like to make a reservation prior to arriving at the airport, please feel free to call Atlanta Link at 404-524-3400. Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Atlanta's MARTA trains operate daily from 5:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. The route from the airport to the hotel is a safe, inexpensive, environmentally friendly transportation option. Upon airport arrival, proceed to baggage claim where you will fi nd the MARTA airport station. Purchase a ticket option most suitable for your needs. Ride the train to the Peachtree Center exit. At the Peachtree Center stop, exit on the side of the street towards the Peachtree Center Mall. Take the escalator to the mall, continue walking straight until you have passed the food court and have arrived at the skywalk. At the skywalk's end, take the elevators down to street level, turn left out of the elevator, and walk one block to the Sheraton Atlanta. At time of brochure printing, the MARTA roundtrip fare from the airport to the Sheraton Atlanta was $4.00. CancellationsCancellations made at least one week prior to the conference date are eligible for a full refund of the registration fee. If you need to cancel less than one week before the program, your registration will be refunded less a $50 enrollment charge, or you may send a substitute from your organization. You are guaranteed a full refund of the registration fee if this conference is canceled for any reason. Conference T-shirtEach attendee will receive a conference T-shirt commemorating the event.
